Slowclap Update: Themes

I’m excited to announce a new update to slowclap that is designed to make it even easier for subscribers to make their slowclap page their own. It’s called themes. Anyone subscribed to any slowclap tier can customize their applause page to utilize one of eight custom themes with more to come! Anyone who visits your site will see that theme regardless of whether or not they’re a subscriber!

If you’re not a subscriber yet, you can still check them out by going to slowcla.app/account/manage and scrolling down a bit (it’s near where you add links and join communities). Don’t see any you like? Let me know what you do like and I’ll factor that in to future theme designs.

This is slowlclap’s first “premium” feature, and I don’t intend to add many, as I’ve mentioned, my goal is to build slowclap into a community of creators supporting each other and people supporting the open web. I’m hoping to extend these themes to the share cards that appear when you post slowclap links on social networks as well, but that is part of a larger update that’s adding more customization to those cards.
